The technical team has been chosen and brought into the project for its valuable deliverables in similar scale events that have already been globally recognized and awarded.
The project management team also gathers valuable and experienced profiles in global project management and real connoisseurs of the modern art environment, whether in Lebanon, France or Italy.

Emmanuel Daydé is a French Art historian, music and drama critic, journalist and curator. He has been organizing Nuit Blanche in Paris since it was launched in 2002 and contributes to numerous art magazines, such as Art Absolument, Art Press or Connaissance des Arts. He has initiated cultural events in Paris about Vietnam, Haiti, Egypt, Brazil or Venice and has been curator for diverse exhibitions such as : Ousmane Sow sur le Pont des Arts (1999) in Paris; Haiti – Anges et démons (2000) in the Halle Saint-Pierre, Regards persans – Iran une révolution photographique (2011) at the Espace Fondation EDF or C’est la vie! Vanités de Caravage à Damien Hirst (2010) at the Musée Maillol. He has also curated exhibitions at the Villa Audi in Beirut (Rabelais/Cerredo : la vie très honorifique du grand Gargantua in 2011), and in the Palazzo Albrizzi in Venice for Zad Moultaka, Come in Terra, in 2015. Emmanuel has also led major interviews with artists such as Wajdi Mouawad, Etel Adnan, Marwan Sahmarani and Ayman Baalbacki. He also wrote reference articles about Chafik Abboud and Saliba Douaihy. He has a true knowledge of Lebanese art, from the Phoenicians heritage, Fakhreddine II and up to the contemporary art scene.
Agence Eva Albarran & Co – Paris
Independent production agency specialized in contemporary art project organizations, Eva Albarran has been both working on public and private events. She has produced, amongst others, the French Pavillion in Venice in 2011 (Christian Boltanski, Chance), in 2013 (Anri Sala, Ravel Ravel Unravel) and in 2015 (Céleste Boursier Mougenot, Rêvolutions). She has also produced Monumenta 2010 and Force de l’Art 02 at the Grand Palais in Paris. She has been heading the organization of Nuit Blanche in Paris since 2011.
IRCAM is a globally recognized research music center and is dedicated to the development of new technologies related to sound and music. It offers a unique opportunity for artists hosted to broaden their music experiences through access to unique new music concepts and technologies.
Sophie Lambert – Plastic Art, Paris
Sophie Lambert was born in Norway in 1965. After studying drawing and art at Met Penninghen in Paris, then photography at the Gobelins School, she moves to London and opens her own production company. She mostly experiments black and white photography. She moves back to Paris in 1992 where she assists several fashion photographers, and goes back to colour photography and drawing.
Pierre Laporte – Communication and Public relations – Paris
Founded in 2001, Pierre Laporte is a communication and PR agency dedicated to culture. More than a hundred events are promoted by the agency every year; Amongst which : Felice Varini or 100% in la Villette, the SOLO gallery at the architecture Biennale in Venice, Laurent Grasso on the Parisian periphérique, the Vallois Gallery, the salon of Montrouge, the Outsider Art Fair and the Bernardins College art scheduling in Paris.
Gilbert Nouno is a sound artist, composer and performer. He lives and works in Paris. He received the Rome Prize Fellowship from the Acad ́emie de France `a Rome Villa M ́edicis in 2011 and the Kyoto Villa Kujoyama Fellowship from Cultures France in 2007. His music draws inspiration from visual and digital art and design, spanning notated and improvised forms. As an interdisciplinary artist under the name Til Berg, he explores synesthesia in emergent art fields relationships. His concepts of work and production take advantage of generative languages, data mining processes and algorithms. He draws abstract minimalist shapes and motions from music and sounds with traditional and digital medium like lithography and video. His work was shown in Paris at the research center for creation IRCAM, in Rome and in Florence at the foundation for contemporary arts Fabbrica Europa 2012. Gilbert Nouno holds Masters and PhD degrees in computer music and artificial intelligence and is carrying out research on human-machine time interactions at IRCAM. Gilbert Nouno is professor of music composition and sonic arts at the Royal College of Music in London and in Detmold Art Universities, in addition to lecturing at Goldsmiths University and Darmstadt new music summer classes. He has performed with artists from different styles and fields of expression such as Pierre Boulez, Michael Barenboim, George Benjamin, Jonathan Harvey, jazz saxophonist Steve Coleman, flutist Malik Mezzadri, underground turntablist DJ Oil and choreographer Susan Buirge.
Catherine Peillon – Author, Photographer, Art director – Paris
After having studying philosophy and writing, Catherine Peillon, author and music producer, decides to go back to photography and visual arts. Previously working under a pseudonym (Jules Geai), she now edits under her own name. She has organized several exhibitions : “Deplacé” in 2008 at the Fondation Royaumont, “Mythologies” in 2013 at the Chenal Bleu in Montreuil… She has also directed her first movie “Amers lointains” and is passionate about making visible the visible…
Philippe Zimmerman – General Stage Director – Venice
Philippe was born in 1957 in Athens and has been working in Venice since 1987. He has been the general stage manager for numerous participations of France at the architecture (Odile Decq and Benoît Cornette in 1996, Claude Parent, Patrick Bouchain in 2006, Dominique Perrault in 2010, Yves Lyon in 2012) and modern art biennales (Jean-Pierre Raynaud in 1993, Fabrice Hybert in 1997, Jean-Pierre Bertrand in 1999, Pierre Huygues in 2001, Jean-Jacques Bustamente in 2003, Annette Messager in 2005, Sophie Calle in 2007, Christian Boltanski in 2011, Anri Sala in 2013 and Céleste Boursier Mougenot in 2015). He has also coordinated numerous exhibits at the Arsenal with the Alliance Française, at the navy museum.
Jide Bacha – Project support
After obtaining a BA in Management, Jide started her professional carreer in banking. She then implemented and managed the market survey company Sofres, in Lebanon.
After getting her MBA in 2003, she launched her own company in Dubai.
Having grown up in the artistic environment of her grand mother, Janine Rubeiz, she has been continuously involved in the activity of the art gallery, Galerie Janine Rubeiz, and actively participates to the ŠamaŠ project.
Nadine Begdache – Gallerist of Zad Moultaka – Founder and Director of Janine Rubeiz Gallery
Nadine Begdache, born in Beirut, daughter of the architect Nadim Majdalani and Janine Rubeiz – founder of Dar El Fan (1967).
She grows up in a multicultural and artistic environment. After her studies in Paris (BA Psychology F.S.P. – 1969) she takes part in many professional endeavors.
In 1993, she opens the gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art Janine Rubeiz as continuity to Dar El Fan.
In her Gallery, she works heartedly to promote and support the artistic and cultural Lebanese scenes. The gallery invites regularly international artists to widen the scope of art and promote multicultural contacts.
She plays a great part in putting the Lebanese artists on the international scene. She represents Zad Moultaka since 2013.
Jess Hanna – Project Support / Fundraising
Born in Lebanon, Jess is an active connoisseur of the art world and scene and has followed numerous courses at auction houses, such as Sotheby’s and Christie’s. She is a part of the fundraising team in the ŠamaŠ project.
Janine Maamari – Founder and Head of the NOG Liban Art
Born in Cairo of Syro-Lebanese descendance, Janine Maamari studied in Cairo and London University (BA & Masters).
Art Collector since the 1970’s, she has participated in major artistic projects in London : “Romantic Lebanon – 1987” and “Lebanon : the artist view – 1989 which had great impact.
In creating the NOG Liban Art of which she is the president and sole curator, Mrs. Maamari is a dynamic support of the artistic scene : she has conceived and realized more than 12 exhibitions in Beirut (Contemparabia Exhibit – 2010, Rebirth – 2011, Journey through our Heritage – 2013, etc..), in London (Perpetual Inspiration – 2015), and the Lebanese Pavilion of the International Art Fair in Singapore (Art beyond Violence – November 2014)
She is currently curating several projects in Lebanon
Wafa Saab – Project Support/Fundraising – General Manager of Tinol
Wafa Saab is General Manager and Board Member of Tinol Paints International, a family-owned business founded in 1956.
She is the first woman to be elected President of the Worldwide Alumni Association of the American University of Beirut (WAAAUB) in 2015.
She sits on the boards of a number of organizations: LAU-BIA (Board of International Advisors of the Lebanese American University), AMIDEAST (American-Mideast Educational and Training Services,) IRADA – WILL, CIH (Civic Influence Hub), the Beiteddine Festival and is also a member of the Baalbeck Festival Committee and the Lebanese Red Cross.

Alia Atieh – Elected Council Member in Neuilly sur Seine and leader of ŠamaŠ Project
Born in Beirut, Alia has graduated from the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris and the Ecole du Louvre. She was Marketing Director for Unilever on global personal care brands, both in London and Paris. In 2014, she was elected a town council member in Neuilly and is in charge of public schools. She is a founding member of Amitiés Neuilly Liban, an association that promotes Lebanese culture in Paris. She is the global coordinator of the ŠamaŠ project.
Nadine Fattouh – Galerist and President of the association
Born from a Lebanese father and a Romanian mother, Nadine lived in Beirut until 1989. She then graduated from the Ecole du Louvre where she specialized in old master painting and has taught there for 5 years. In 2001, she joins Jacques Leegenhook Gallery in Paris, a cornerstone gallery in the field of old master paintings. However, she is very involved as well in the contemporary art scene and has been promoting since 2008 numerous artists, most of them from the Mediterranean.
Micheline Ferran – Legal Advisor at the CCIP Paris and General Secretary of the association
Micheline is a specalist in copyright and trademark law. She heads a department of Intellectual Property at the Paris Chamber of Commerce. She has been general secretary of a mediation and arbitrage center in Paris and the executive editor of an intellectual property magazine. She also headed the SDMO Middle East association from 2009 to 2013.
Chiara Poggi-Ferrero – Associate Member of DS Avocats (Paris and Milan), Lawyer at Paris and Milan bars – Legal advisor of the project
Chiara who is a lawyer at both Paris and Milan bars is the legal advisor of the association. She is an associate member of DS Avocats, one of the major business law offices founded in 1972. She has generated numerous publications in the fiel of law, both in France and Italy, is a regular speaker at international symposiums, universities and private organisms, both in Italy and France.
A young graduate from a Contemporary Art Master, Virginie has been assisting Zad Moultaka in his artistic projects since 2015. She is also a coordinator of Nuit Blanche with Eva Albarran’s production company.
